  1. Place the key in the ignition.
  2. Disconnect BCM connector C3.
  3. Connect a test lamp between the signal circuit of the ignition key alarm switch and B+. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.

Does the test lamp illuminate?

  1. Open the LF door.
  2. Connect a test lamp between the signal circuit of the driver door lock and B+. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems.

Test the park lamps supply voltage circuit for an open. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Test the ground circuit of the ignition key alarm switch for an open or high resistance. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
