- Inspect the driveline
torque arm (5) at the drive axle (1) for looseness, damage,
and/or deformities which may be altering the driveline working angles. If
the torque arm exhibited any of these conditions, it requires tightening,
repair, or replacement.
- Inspect the front propeller
shaft support bearing assembly (2) for damaged rubber components, worn
bearings, or a damaged/cracked bracket which could be affecting the angles
of the propeller shafts.
- If the support bearing assembly exhibited any of these conditions,
it requires replacement.
- Inspect the propeller shaft support bearing assembly (2)
for loose or missing shims/washers, if equipped. Reinstall correctly or replace
any shims/washers as necessary to ensure proper alignment of the support
bearing assembly.
- Inspect the driveline
torque arm (4) at the transmission (1) for damage and/or deformities
which may be altering the driveline working angles. If torque arm exhibited
any of these conditions, the torque arm requires repair or replacement.
- Inspect the driveline torque arm to transmission brackets and
bushings (2, 3, 8) for looseness, damage, and/or deformities which
may be altering the driveline working angles. If any of the brackets and/or
bushings exhibited any of these conditions, the affected bracket/bushing
requires replacement.
- Inspect the transmission mount for excessive wear, damage, and/or
deformities which may be altering the driveline working angles. If the transmission
mount exhibited any of these conditions, the mount requires replacement.
