Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 208583  Size: SH
  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Support the transmission with a transmission jack.
  3. Remove the nut that secures the mount to the transmission support.

  4. Object Number: 208587  Size: SH
  5. Remove the bolts that secure the transmission support to the vehicle.
  6. Remove the transmission support from the vehicle.

  7. Object Number: 725576  Size: SH
  8. Remove the bolts that secure the mount to the transmission.
  9. Remove the mount from the transmission.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 725576  Size: SH
  1. Install the mount to the transmission.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the bolts that secure the mount to the transmission.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  5. Install the transmission support to the vehicle.
  6. Install the bolts that secure the transmission support to the vehicle.
  7. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 90 N·m (65 lb ft).

  8. Install the nut that secures the mount to the transmission support.
  9. Tighten
    Tighten the nut to 57 N·m (42 lb ft).

  10. Remove the transmission jack.
  11. Lower the vehicle.
