Removal Procedure
- Disconnect low brake fluid sensor electrical connector (2) from the sensor (1).
- Using needlenose pliers, remove the sensor (2) from the reservoir (1) by squeezing the outer tangs together and removing the sensor by hand.
Important: If the sensor is being replaced, remove and replace the sensor float from within the master cylinder reservoir.
Installation Procedure
- Insert the low brake fluid sensor (2) and float sensor if removed, into reservoir (1) cavity.
- Ensure that the sensor is fully seated to the master cylinder by attempting to pull the sensor outward.
- Connect the low brake fluid sensor electrical connector (2) to the sensor (1).
