Front Seat Replacement - Bucket Manual

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 330706  Size: MH
  1. Place a protective tape over the nearby trim and paint.
  2. Remove the caps (3) from seat adjuster nuts (4).
  3. Remove the seat adjuster nuts (4) from the studs (2, 5).
  4. Disconnect the seat belt wiring harness electrical connector, as required.
  5. Remove the front bucket seat (1) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the front bucket seat (1) on to the studs (2, 5) in the vehicle.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the seat adjuster nuts (4) to the studs (2, 5).
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the seat adjuster nuts to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).

  5. Connect the seat belt wiring harness electrical connector, if required.
  6. Install the caps (3) to the nuts (4).
  7. Remove the protective tape from the nearby trim and paint.

Front Seat Replacement - Bucket Power

Removal Procedure

  1. Place a protective tape over the nearby trim and paint.
  2. Position the front power bucket seat to the full upward and midway position.

  4. Remove the screws from the inner and outer front adjuster nut covers, and remove the covers.

  5. Object Number: 727704  Size: SH
  6. Remove the screw from the rear inner adjuster nut cover, and remove the cover.

  7. Object Number: 727684  Size: SH
  8. Remove the screw from the rear outer adjuster nut cover, position the cover to access the adjuster nut.

  9. Object Number: 727725  Size: SH
  10. Remove the seat adjuster nuts from the studs.

  11. Object Number: 727728  Size: SH
  12. Disconnect the seat belt wiring harness electrical connector, and the lumbar air supply hose.

  13. Object Number: 727758  Size: SH
  14. Remove the front bucket seat from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 727758  Size: SH
  1. Install the front bucket seat to the vehicle.

  2. Object Number: 727728  Size: SH
  3. Connect the seat belt wiring harness electrical connector, and the lumbar air supply hose.

  4. Object Number: 727725  Size: SH

  5. Install the seat adjuster nuts to the studs.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).

  7. Install the screw to the rear outer adjuster nut cover.
  8. Tighten
    Tighten the screw to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  9. Install the rear inner adjuster nut cover and install the screw to the cover.
  10. Tighten
    Tighten the screw to 2 N·m (18 lb in).


    Object Number: 727699  Size: SH
  11. Install the inner and outer front adjuster nut covers, and install the screws to the covers.
  12. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  13. Position the front power bucket seat to the original setting.
  14. Remove the protective tape from the nearby trim and paint.
