Do the Courtesy Lamps operate properly?

Go to Step 3

  1. Close vehicle doors.
  2. Close rear compartment lid.
  3. Turn ignition to RUN position.
  4. Turn ignition to OFF position.
  5. Wait at least 10 minutes.

Do all of the RAP functions still operate after the 10 minute time-out period?

Go to Step 4

Inspect for poor connections at the harness connector of the BCM. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections and Connector Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Did you find and correct the condition?

Go to Step 6

Important: Perform the programming procedure when replacing the BCM. Refer to Body Control Module (BCM) Programming/RPO Configuration in Body Control System.

Replace the BCM. Refer to Body Control Module Replacement in Body Control System.

Is the repair complete?
