93-04 Chevrolet Camaro/Pontiac Firebird/93-05 Chevrolet Corvette Muffler Paint Peeling Supplement to TSB 33-17-01A - kw body chip dirt exhaust hanger tailpipe

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom described in the PI.

Technical Service Bulletin 33-17-01A addresses a customer complaint of black paint peeling from the muffler(s). The TSB is titled for 1993 - 1998 vehicles.

The bulletin contains a procedure and "materials needed" information for cleaning and repainting affected areas. This procedure can be used to address vehicles of newer vintage (1999 - 2004)
