Makes 🢒 Pontiac 🢒 1998 🢒 Firefly (Canada) 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 1.0L 🢒 Oil Pan Removal

    Object Number: 178312 Size: SH
  1. Remove the crankshaft position sensor (4) and one bolt.
  2. Remove the following components from the cylinder block:
    3. • Fourteen engine oil pan bolts
    • Two nuts
    • The engine oil pan (3)

  3. Remove the following components from the cylinder block:
    4. • The oil pump strainer bracket bolt
    • The oil pump strainer bolt
    • The oil pump strainer (2)
  4. Remove the oil pump strainer seal (3).
  5. Clean the inside of the engine oil pan and the oil pump strainer screen.
  6. Clean the mating surfaces of the engine oil pan and the cylinder block.
