Radio Rear Speaker Replacement 2-Door

Caution: Unless directed otherwise, the ignition and start switch must be in the OFF or LOCK position, and all electrical loads must be OFF before servicing any electrical component. Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent an electrical spark should a tool or equipment come in contact with an exposed electrical terminal. Failure to follow these precautions may result in personal injury and/or damage to the vehicle or its components.

1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
2. Remove the rear quarter trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.



3. Disconnect the rear speaker electrical connector.
4. Remove the following components from the vehicle:

4 screws

4.2.	The rear speaker (1)

1. Install the speaker (1) to the inner rear quarter panel. Secure the speaker with the 4 screws.
2. Connect the rear speaker electrical connector.
3. Install the rear quarter trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
4. Connect the negative (-) battery cable.

Radio Rear Speaker Replacement 4-Door

1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
2. Remove the seatback-to-rear window trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement in Body Rear End.



3. Disconnect the rear speaker electrical connector.
4. Remove the following components from the vehicle:

4 screws

4.2.	The rear speaker (1)

1. Install the rear speaker (1) to the rear seatback to the rear window shelf. Secure the speaker with the 4 screws.
2. Connect the rear speaker electrical connector.
3. Install the rear seatback-to-rear window trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement in Body Rear End.
4. Connect the negative (-) battery cable.
