DEFINITION: Fails to release the clutch

Depress the pedal in order for the floor-gearshift control lever not to freely move in the IN and the OUT positions of the reverse gear without gear clashing.

Improved pedal free travel adjustment

Clutch pedal

  1. Foreign object between the clutch pedal and the floor
  2. Improper pedal stop adjustment

Clutch release bearing

Improperly installed in a release shaft fork

Pressure plate

Loose pressure plate cover bolts

Clutch disc
