Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Suitably support the transaxle with a hydraulic jack.

  3. Object Number: 180009  Size: SH
  4. Remove the rear transaxle mount through-bolt (6) and the nut (5).
  5. Remove the 2 rear transaxle mount bolts (1).
  6. Remove the rear transaxle mount (2).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 180009  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  1. Install the rear transaxle mount (2) into the vehicle.
  2. Use 2 retaining bolts (1) in order to secure the rear transaxle mount (2).

    Tighten
    Tighten the transaxle retaining bolts to 60 N·m (44 lb ft).

  3. Install the through-bolt (6) and the nut (5) to the rear transaxle mount.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the through-bolt and the nut to 60 N·m (44 lb ft).

  5. Remove the hydraulic jack from under the transaxle.
  6. Lower the vehicle.
