Did you perform the Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) Check?

Go to Daytime Running Lights (DRL) System Check

1. Turn the combination switch to the HEAD position.
2. Move the dimmer switch in the HI position.
3. Using a test lamp, backprobe the junction block connector C3 from cavity 6 to B+.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 5

Inspect for an open in the RED wire between S107 and the junction block.

Is the connection OK?

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 6

Replace the junction block.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Daytime Running Lights (DRL) System Check

Replace the combination switch. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Coil Replacement in SIR.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Daytime Running Lights (DRL) System Check

Repair the open in the RED wire between S107 and the junction block. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
