Instrument Cluster Replacement Notchback

Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1721595 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the instrument cluster trim panel.

    3. Object Number: 1721597 Size: SH
  3. Remove the instrument cluster rear trim panel.

    4. Object Number: 1721598 Size: SH
  4. Remove the screws and the instrument cluster.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1721598 Size: SH
  1. Connect the electrical connectors.
  2. Install the instrument cluster with the screws.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the instrument cluster screws to 4 N·m (35 lb in).

  3. Install the instrument cluster rear trim panel.

    4. Object Number: 1721595 Size: SH
  4. Install the instrument cluster trim panel.
  5. Connect the negative battery cable.

Instrument Cluster Replacement Hatchback

Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1248451 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the instrument cluster trim panel.

    3. Object Number: 1248452 Size: SH
  3. Remove the screws and the instrument cluster.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1248452 Size: SH
  1. Connect the electrical connectors.
  2. Install the instrument cluster with the screws.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the instrument cluster screws to 4 N·m (35 lb in).

  3. Install the instrument cluster trim panel.
  4. Connect the negative battery cable.
