Removal Procedure

    Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 2049260 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
  2. Unlock the ECM connector locking lever (1).

    3. Object Number: 2042551 Size: SH
  3. Remove the ECM retaining nuts (2).
  4. Remove the ECM (1).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2042551 Size: SH
  1. Install the ECM (1).

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the ECM retaining nuts (2).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the ECM retaining nuts to 8 N·m (70.8 lb in).

  3. Lock the ECM connector locking lever (1).
  4. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
