The Folding Top Control (FTC) Module recieves ground at C 1, pin 25. The FTC Module monitors this circuit for proper operation.

The Folding Top Control (FTC) module is active.

The ground circuit is open or has high resistance.

The top is disabled.

The fault is no longer present and the top completes one cycle.

Scan Tool Data Definitions

1. Disconnect the FTC Module connector C1.
2. Probe terminal 25 with a test lamp connected to B+. The test lamp should illuminate.

⇒	If the test lamp does not illuminate, test for an open or high resistance on the ground circuit.

3. If circuit test OK, replace the FTC Module.

Perform the Diagnostic Repair Verification after completing the diagnostic procedure.
