Preliminary Procedures

1. Place the folding top in the service position. Refer to Folding Top Retainer Strap Installation Position .
2. Remove the windshield upper garnish molding. Refer to Windshield Upper Garnish Molding Replacement .

Folding Top Front Location Pin Guide Bolts (Qty: 3)

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Tip
Mark the location of the guide with a grease pencil before removing.

Tighten
10 N·m (89 lb in)

Tip

1. Place the guide shim under the receiver before reinstalling the bolts.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the receiver position switch.
3. The switch is not serviceable and must be replaced with receiver.
