The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

A customer might comment of a SES light on and or various electrical concerns.

Check inside the in-line connector C206 on the left side of the dash for water intrusion. (See Document ID # 1470995)

Water has shown up in this connector on some vehicle that will cause possible SES, SVS, APP Codes, or other various codes to set.

If you find water in this connector C206 then check for a possible water leak from the top of the A pillar at the ditch molding and reseal as necessary.

Note: If the "wet" connector (C206) is corrosion free then with compressed air dry the connector. If Terminals are "rusty" or corroded in anyway please replace them.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
