Removal Procedure
Caution: Ensure that the vehicle is properly supported and squarely positioned.
To help avoid personal injury when a vehicle is on a hoist, provide additional support
for the vehicle on the opposite end from which the components are being removed.
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to
Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
.
- Support the transaxle with a suitable stand.
- Remove the front transaxle mount through bolt nut (1).
- Remove the front transaxle mount through bolt (2).
- Remove the transaxle mount-to-transaxle attachment bolts (1).
- Remove the transaxle mount (2) from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
- Install the transaxle mount (2) to the vehicle.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.
- Install the transaxle mount bolts (1).
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).
- Install the transaxle mount through bolt (2).
- Install the transaxle mount through bolt nut (1).
Tighten
Tighten the nut to 90 N·m (66 lb ft).
- Remove the transaxle stand.
- Lower the vehicle.
