GM Service Manual Online
For 1990-2009 cars only
ABS Active: The scan tool displays the active status of the ABS.

Brake Fluid Level Switch: The scan tool displays the status of the brake fluid level.

Brake Pressure Sensor: The scan tool displays the master cylinder hydraulic pressure applied to the system.

Brake Pressure Sensor Input: The scan tool displays the pressure sensor signal voltage.

Brake Temp Status: The electronic brake control module (EBCM) calculates the brake rotor temperature. If the EBCM determines that the rotor temperature is too high, brake intervention traction control is temporarily inhibited.

DRP Active: The scan tool displays the active status of the dynamic rear proportioning (DRP).

DRP Disabled: The scan tool displays the functional status of the DRP.

Ignition Voltage Signal: The scan tool displays ignition voltage from 0-17 volts.

Initial Brake Apply Signal: The scan tool displays the applied state of the brake pedal.

Lateral Accelerometer Signal: The scan tool displays the sensor voltage output and lateral g force.

Left TCS Isolation Solenoid Command: The scan tool displays the status of the left traction control system (TCS) isolation solenoid.

Left TCS Prime Solenoid Command: The scan tool displays the status of the left TCS primary solenoid.

LF Wheel Speed: The scan tool displays the actual speed of the left front wheel.

LR Wheel Speed: The scan tool displays the actual speed of the left rear wheel.

Moderate Brake Apply Signal: The scan tool displays applied when the brake pedal is depressed firmly.

Pump Motor Relay Command: The scan tool displays the commanded state of the pump motor relay.

Pump Motor Relay Feedback Voltage: The scan tool displays the actual ON/OFF state of the pump motor relay.

Right TCS Isolation Solenoid Command: The scan tool displays the status of the right TCS isolation solenoid.

Left TCS Prime Solenoid Command: The scan tool displays the status of the left TCS primary solenoid.

RF Wheel Speed: The scan tool displays the actual speed of the right front wheel.

Rough Road Detected: The EBCM calculates the condition of the road surface. This information is sent to the powertrain control module (PCM) via serial data messages. The PCM uses this information for misfire detection.

RR Wheel Speed: The scan tool displays the actual speed of the right rear wheel.

Solenoid Relay Command: The scan tool displays the commanded state of the solenoid relay.

Steering Position Sensor: The scan tool displays the steering wheel position in degrees.

Stoplamp Pedal Switch: The scan tool displays the applied state of the brake pedal.

Stoplamp Pedal Switch Signal: The scan tool displays the brake pedal position (BPP) sensor voltage.

Switched Battery Voltage: The scan tool displays 0-17 volts. The level of the internal EBCM switched battery voltage available to the solenoid valves and pump motor.

SWPS Signal 1: The scan tool displays the voltage output of signal 1 of the steering wheel position sensor (SWPS).

SWPS Signal 2: The scan tool displays the voltage output of signal 2 of the SWPS.

TCS Active: The scan tool displays Yes or No. The active status of the TCS indicates if TCS is currently active.

TCS Active Indicator/Message: The scan tool displays Off or On. Indicates if the EBCM is commanding the Traction Engaged message to be displayed by the driver information center (DIC).

TCS Active: The scan tool displays the active status of the TCS.

TCS Enabled: The scan tool displays the operating status of the TCS.

Traction Control Status: The scan tool displays the active status of the TCS.

Torque Request Signal: The scan tool displays the requested engine torque to perform traction control sent by the EBCM.

Vehicle Speed: The scan tool displays the vehicle speed.

VSES Active: The scan tool displays the active status of the vehicle stability enhancement system (VSES).

VSES Enabled: The scan tool displays the operating status of the VSES.

Yaw Rate Sensor: The scan tool displays vehicle yaw rate in degrees of vehicle rotation per second (°/sec).

Yaw Rate Signal: The scan tool displays the sensor signal voltage.
