Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1283406 Size: SH
  1. Disable the roof rail SIR system, if equipped. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
  2. Remove the lower lock pillar trim panel. Refer to Body Lock Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement .
  3. Remove the garnish trim fastener cover.
  4. Remove the garnish trim fastener.

    5. Object Number: 1171405 Size: SH
  5. Starting at the bottom, remove the garnish trim by pulling straight out.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1171405 Size: SH
  1. Install the garnish trim into the vehicle.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the garnish trim fastener.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the fastener to 3 N·m (26 lb in).

  3. Install the trim fastener cover.
  4. Install the lower lock pillar trim panel. Refer to Body Lock Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement .
  5. Enable the roof rail SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
