The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
A customer that has a G6 with a Panoramic (CY3) sunroof may have been unable to turn on the dome light unless they open a door. There is not a manual dome lamp switch on a G6 with a Panoramic roof.
Recommendation/Instructions:
No repair attempts, or modifications should be made. This is a normal condition due to the size of the Panoramic roof and the dome light being mounted rearward of it.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
