Preliminary Procedures Place the folding top in the service position. Refer to Folding Top Retainer Strap Installation Position .
1	Folding Top Side Front Weatherstrip Tip Mark the location of the part with a grease pencil before removing. Procedure Loosen the corners of the weatherstrip before pulling the weatherstrip away from the retainer. Use a plastic, flat-bladed tool to assist in the removal. Use a lint-free cloth and Naphtha or a 50/50 mixture, by volume of isopropyl alcohol and water to remove the adhesive. Dry the area thoroughly. Do not touch the adhesive backing on the weatherstrip. Inspect the door glass for proper alignment.
