Removal Procedure
- Remove the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Replacement.
- Ensure that the location measurement of the battery current sensor was recorded for reference during installation.
- Squeeze the ground ends of the negative battery cable together and remove the sensor (1) from the cable.
Installation Procedure
- Install the battery current sensor (1) by passing the ground ends of the negative battery cable through the sensor.
- Measure from the same end as earlier, and slide the current sensor to that measurement on the negative battery cable.
- Install the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Replacement.
Important: Ensure the battery current sensor is installed in the correct direction and location on the negative battery cable.
