Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1239030 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge valve electrical connector.
  2. Disconnect the EVAP canister purge pipe from the EVAP canister purge valve. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service.
  3. Remove the EVAP canister purge valve bolt.
  4. Remove the EVAP canister purge valve from the intake manifold.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1239030 Size: SH
  1. Position the EVAP canister purge valve to the intake manifold.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the EVAP canister purge valve bolt.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  3. Connect the EVAP canister purge pipe to the EVAP canister purge valve. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service.
  4. Connect the EVAP canister purge valve electrical connector.
