Preliminary Procedures

1. Position window approximately half way down in the door.
2. Remove the interior trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement.
3. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement.

Front Side Door Window to Regulator Bolts (Qty: 2)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Procedure

1. Loosen the window to regulator guide bolts.
2. Raise the window to the full up position, tape in place.

Tighten
10 N·m (89 lb in)

Front Door Window Regulator Bolts (Qty: 4)

Procedure

Disconnect window regulator electrical connector.

Tighten
10 N·m (89 lb in)

Front Door Window Regulator

Procedure

1. When installing a new window regulator, remove the two window regulator guides bolts (1).
2. The window regulator guides must be raised to meet the window before reinstalling the window regulator guides bolts (1).

Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the interior trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement.
2. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement.
3. Remove the front door window. Refer to Front Side Door Window Replacement.

Front Side Door Window Regulator Bolt (Qty: 3)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
10 N·m (89 lb in)

Front Door Window Regulator Lower Nut Access Plug

Tip
Remove plug to access window regulator nut.

Front Door Window Regulator Nut (Qty: 4)

Tighten
10 N·m (89 lb in)

Front Side Door Window Regulator Assembly

Procedure

Tip
Disconnect the electrical connector.
