Center Pillar Upper Garnish Molding Replacement for Pontiac G6 2009

1. Disable the roof rail SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling.



2. Lower the seat belt D-ring adjuster.
3. Remove the fastener from the D-ring.
4. Remove the D-ring.
5. Starting at the top, remove the garnish molding by pulling forward.

1. Starting at the bottom, install the garnish molding to the vehicle.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.




2. Position the seat belt D-ring and install the D-ring fastener.

Tighten
Tighten the fastener to 35 N·m (25 lb ft).

3. Enable the roof rail SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling.
