Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Safety Glasses Caution in the Preface section.

    Caution: Refer to Vehicle Lifting Caution in the Preface section.

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the rear wheelhouse liner. Refer to Rear Inner Wheelhouse Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 1937447 Size: SH
  3. Remove the rear bumper fascia extension to rear bumper fascia retaining screw (1).

    4. Object Number: 1937449 Size: SH
  4. Disengage the rear bumper fascia extension retaining clips (1) from the rear bumper fascia.
  5. Remove the rear bumper fascia extension (2) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1937449 Size: SH
  1. Position the rear bumper fascia extension (2) to the vehicle.
  2. Engage the rear bumper fascia extension retaining clips (1) to the rear bumper fascia.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1937447 Size: SH
  3. Install the rear bumper fascia extension to rear bumper fascia retaining screw (1).

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the screw to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  4. Install the rear wheelhouse liner. Refer to Rear Inner Wheelhouse Replacement .
  5. Lower the vehicle.
