ABS Rear Wheel Speed Sensor Data Swapped On Tech 2 - keywords brake C0045 C0050 00 5A

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

When diagnosing an ABS DTC for a rear wheel speed sensor you may find after making repairs for the applicable DTC, the DTC may reset. You may also find that wheel speed sensor data on the Tech 2 isolates a concern to the left or right rear wheel speed sensor and/or circuit.

Currently the Tech 2 displays the opposite side wheel speed sensor data for the rear wheel speed sensors. The "Left Rear Wheel Speed" display on the Tech 2 is actually the right rear wheel speed. The "Right Rear Wheel Speed" display on the Tech 2 is actually the left rear wheel speed.

Note: This only applies to the rear wheel speed sensor data. The front wheel speed sensor data has been verified to be correct.

This concern will be corrected on a future Tech 2 update.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
