Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the rear compartment side trim (right) panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Side Trim Panel Replacement.

    2. Object Number: 1937261 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector (1) to the fuel filler door release actuator.

    3. Object Number: 1937263 Size: SH
  3. Remove the fuel filler door release actuator to fuel filler neck retaining screws (2).
  4. Remove the fuel filler door release actuator (1) from the upper fuel filler neck.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1937263 Size: SH
  1. Install the fuel filler door release actuator (1) to the upper fuel filler neck.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the fuel filler door release actuator to upper fuel filler neck retaining screws (2) and tighten to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

    3. Object Number: 1937261 Size: SH
  3. Connect the electrical connector (1) to the fuel filler door release actuator.
  4. Install the rear compartment side trim (right) panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Side Trim Panel Replacement.
