Makes 🢒 Pontiac 🢒 2009 🢒 G8 🢒 Seats 🢒 Seat Hardware, Trim, and Upholstery 🢒 Seat Belt Replacement - Center Rear

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement.
  2. Remove the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement.
  3. Remove the rear window shelf trim panel. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement.

    4. Object Number: 2043549 Size: SH
  4. Remove the rear seat centre seat belt anchor to body retaining nut (1).
  5. Remove the rear seat centre seat belt anchor (2).

    6. Object Number: 2043550 Size: SH
  6. Detach the rear seat centre seat belt noise damper pad (1).
  7. Remove the rear seat centre seat belt retractor to body retaining bolt (2).
  8. Remove the rear seat centre seat belt assembly (3) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2043550 Size: SH

    Note: 

    Make sure that the retractor is parallel to the vehicle centre line.

  1. Install the rear seat centre seat belt assembly (3).

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the rear seat centre seat belt retractor to body retaining bolt (2) and tighten to 43 N·m (32 lb ft).
  3. Install the rear seat centre seat belt noise damper pad (1).

    4. Object Number: 2043549 Size: SH

    Note: Make sure that the centre belt anchor is parallel to vehicle centre line.

  4. Install the rear seat centre seat belt anchor (2).
  5. Install the rear seat centre seat belt to body anchor retaining nut (1) and tighten to 43 N·m (32 lb ft).
  6. Install the rear window shelf trim panel. Refer to Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement.
  7. Install the rear seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement.
  8. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement.
