Removal Procedure

    Warning: Refer to Safety Glasses Warning in the Preface section.

    Danger: To avoid any vehicle damage, serious personal injury or death when major components are removed from the vehicle and the vehicle is supported by a hoist, support the vehicle with jack stands at the opposite end from which the components are being removed and strap the vehicle to the hoist.

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
  2. Remove the front wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.

    3. Object Number: 1936818 Size: SH
  3. Remove the front wheelhouse liner to the front air deflector push-in retainers (1).

    4. Object Number: 1936747 Size: SH
  4. Remove the front wheelhouse liner to rocker panel retaining screws (1).

    5. Object Number: 1936494 Size: SH
  5. Remove the front wheelhouse liner to wheelhouse retaining scrivets (1).
  6. Remove the front wheelhouse liner from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure
  1. Position the front wheelhouse liner to the vehicle.

    2. Object Number: 1936494 Size: SH
  2. Install the front wheelhouse liner to wheelhouse retaining scrivets (1).

    3. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1936747 Size: SH
  3. Install the front wheelhouse liner to rocker panel retaining screws (1) and tighten to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

    4. Object Number: 1936818 Size: SH
  4. Install the front wheelhouse liner to the front air deflector retaining screws (1) and tighten to 2 N·m (18 lb in).
  5. Install the front wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.
  6. Lower the vehicle.
