Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement.
  2. Remove the instrument panel compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement.
  3. Remove the radio fascia. Refer to Driver Information Display Replacement.

  4. Object Number: 1957759  Size: SH
  5. Remove the I/P upper trim panel (1) by disengaging the trim panel retaining clips (2) and removing the I/P upper trim panel from the I/P pad (3).

  6. Object Number: 1957755  Size: SH
  7. Remove the centre trim panel to I/P pad retaining screws (1).

  8. Object Number: 2041044  Size: SH
  9. Remove the centre trim panel to I/P retaining screws (1).
  10. Remove the centre trim panel storage bin to console retaining screws (2).
  11. Remove the centre trim panel storage bin (3).
  12. Disengage the centre trim panel to I/P pad retaining clips, located at the top of the centre trim panel (4).
  13. Remove the trim panel.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 2041044  Size: SH
  1. Align the centre trim panel (4) with the I/P.
  2. Engage the centre trim panel to I/P pad retaining clips, located at the top of the centre trim panel (4).
  3. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  4. Install the centre trim panel to I/P retaining screws (1) and tighten to 2  N·m (18 lb in).
  5. Install the centre trim panel storage bin (3).
  6. Install the centre trim panel storage bin to console retaining screws (2) and tighten to 2  N·m (18 lb in).

  7. Object Number: 1957755  Size: SH
  8. Install the top trim panel to I/P pad retaining screws (1) and tighten to 2  N·m (18 lb in).

  9. Object Number: 1957759  Size: SH
  10. Install the trim panel top cover (1) by engaging the trim panel retaining clips (2) and securing it to the I/P pad.
  11. Ensure the trim panel (1) is flush with the I/P pad.
  12. Install the I/P trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Trim Panel Replacement.
  13. Install the radio fascia. Refer to Driver Information Display Replacement.
  14. Install the instrument panel compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement.
  15. Install the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement.
