Removal Procedure
Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning in the Preface section.
- Disconnect the battery ground cable. Refer to
Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
- Remove the radiator air baffle and deflector. Refer to
Radiator Air Upper Baffle and Deflector Replacement.
- Remove the front bumper fascia. Refer to
Front Bumper Fascia Replacement.
Note: Use a suitable tool to raise the headlamp assembly electrical connector locking tab (2) and pull the headlamp assembly electrical connector (1) rearward.
- Disconnect the headlamp assembly electrical connector (1).
- Remove the headlamp bracket to front end module retaining bolts (2).
- Remove the headlamp bracket (3) from the front end module (1).
- Remove the headlamp assembly to front end module retaining bolts (2).
- Remove the headlamp assembly (3) from the front end module (1).
Installation Procedure
- Install the headlamp assembly (3) to the front end module (1).
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.
- Install the headlamp assembly to front end module retaining bolts (2) and tighten to
4 N·m (35 lb in).
Note: Make sure the headlamp assembly electrical connector locking tab (2) is correctly engaged. Failure to do so may cause an inoperative headlamp assembly or intermittent condition.
- Connect the headlamp assembly electrical connector (1).
- Install the headlamp bracket (3) to the front end module (1).
- Install the headlamp assembly to front end module retaining bolts (2) and tighten to
4 N·m (35 lb in).
- Install the front bumper fascia. Refer to
Front Bumper Fascia Replacement.
- Install the radiator air baffle and deflector. Refer to
Radiator Air Upper Baffle and Deflector Replacement.
- Connect the battery ground cable. Refer to
Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
- Check all vehicle lights for correct operation.
- Adjust the headlamps. Refer to
Headlamp Aiming.
