2009 G8 No Oil Pressure Gage Or Voltage Gage With Uplevel Radio - keywords DIC IPC secondary

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

For the 2009 model year the Pontiac G8 is no longer equipped with an oil pressure gage or voltmeter gage in the center of the instrument panel.

This change occurred at the start of production for the 2009 Pontiac G8. Vehicles built with the base radio will still use the display in the center of the instrument panel for radio functions.

Note: Do NOT attempt to add the display in the 2009 model year G8 if it is equipped with the uplevel radio.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
