Removal Procedure
- Clean the outside of the brake master cylinder reservoir and the reservoir cap (1).
- Disconnect the brake fluid level differential switch connector.
- Remove the reservoir cap.
- Remove the cap seal.
Caution: Refer to Brake Fluid Irritant Caution in the Preface section.
Notice: Refer to Brake Fluid Effects on Paint and Electrical Components Notice in the Preface section.
- Remove the brake fluid with the syringe.
- Remove the screw that retains the reservoir to the master cylinder.
- Remove the reservoir from the master cylinder.
Installation Procedure
- Install the reservoir to the master cylinder.
- Ensure the reservoir screw hole aligns with the master cylinder screw hole.
- Install the screw.
- Fill the reservoir. Refer to

.
- Install the cap seal.
- Install the cap (1).
- Inspect the master cylinder for fluid leakage.
- Connect the brake fluid level differential switch connector.
