Engine Protection Shield Replacement for Pontiac GTO 2004

1. Raise and support vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.



2. Remove four engine protection shield bolts (1), then the engine protection shield.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.




1. Install engine protection shield, and secure with the four engine protection shield bolts (1).

Tighten
Tighten the engine protection shield bolts to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).

2. Lower the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
