Removal Procedure
  1. Lower the front frame in order to access the stabilizer shaft bracket nuts. Refer to Front Frame Replacement in Frame and Underbody.

    2. Object Number: 1386895 Size: SH
  2. Remove the nuts (2) that retain the insulator bracket (3) to the front frame (1).
  3. Remove the bracket from the insulator (4).
  4. Remove the insulator from the stabilizer shaft (5).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1386895 Size: SH
  1. Install the insulator (4) to the stabilizer shaft (5).

    2. Ensure the slot in the insulator faces forward.

  2. Position the insulator on the front frame (1).

    3. Ensure the curved portion of the insulator seats in the curved mating surface on the front frame.

  3. Install the bracket (3) to the insulator.

    4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  4. Install the nuts (2) in order to retain the bracket to the front frame.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 27 N·m (20 lb ft).

  5. Install the front frame. Refer to Front Frame Replacement in Frame and Underbody.
