Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the door lock assembly. Refer to Door Lock Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 1340874 Size: SH
  2. Remove the anti-theft cover (3) from the door lock assembly (7).
  3. Remove the 2 screws (6) securing the door lock actuator assembly (4) to the lock assembly (7).
  4. Remove the 3 retaining clips (2) and the door lock bushing (1) from the lock assembly (7).
  5. Remove the door lock actuator insulator (5) from the actuator assembly, if required.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1340874 Size: SH
  1. Install the front door lock acutator insulator (5), if removed.
  2. Install the door lock bushing (1) and the 3 retaining clips (2) to the lock assembly (7).

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the door lock actuator assembly (4) to the lock assembly (7) and secure with the 2 screws (6).

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the door lock actuator screws to 4 N·m (35 lb in).

  4. Install the anti-theft cover (3) to the door lock assembly (7).
  5. Install the door lock assembly. Refer to Door Lock Replacement .
  6. Inspect the lock system for the proper operation.
