Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the left kneebolster panel. Refer to Driver Knee Bolster Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  2. Remove the center HVAC duct.

    3. Object Number: 1547484 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the stop lamp electrical connector (1) from the stop lamp switch (5).
  4. Disconnect the brake transmission shift interlock electrical connector (4) from the stop lamp switch (5).
  5. Remove the stop lamp switch (5) from the brake pedal bracket.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1547484 Size: SH
  1. Install the stop lamp switch (5) to the brake pedal bracket.
  2. Connect the brake transmission shift interlock electrical connector (4) to the stop lamp switch (5).
  3. Connect the stop lamp electrical connector (1) to the stop lamp switch (5).
  4. Adjust the stop lamp switch. Refer to Stop Lamp Switch Adjustment .
  5. Install the center HVAC duct.
  6. Install the left kneebolster panel. Refer to Driver Knee Bolster Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
