Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the brake pressure modulator valve (BPMV). Refer to Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 1549411 Size: SH
  2. Remove 4 bolts (1) from the electronic brake control module (EBCM).
  3. Remove the EBCM (2) from the BPMV (3).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1549411 Size: SH
  1. Align and install the EBCM (2) to the brake pressure modulator valve (3).

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1550434 Size: SH
  2. Secure the EBCM with 4 bolts in the sequence shown.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the EBCM bolts to 2 N·m (17 lb in), then to 3 N·m (26.5 lb in).

  3. Install the BPMV. Refer to Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Replacement .
  4. Using the scan tool, perform the System Configuration under the ABS Special Functions menu.
