Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 441863 Size: SH
  1. Remove the manual transmission. Refer to Transmission Replacement in Manual Transmission - Tremec  6-Speed.
  2. Remove the clutch pressure plate bolts (4).
  3. Remove the clutch pressure plate (3) and driven disc (2) from the dowel pins on the flywheel (1).

Installation Procedure
  1. Adjust the pressure plate assembly. Refer to Clutch Pressure Plate Adjustment .

    2. Object Number: 441863 Size: SH
  2. Install the clutch pressure plate (3) and driven plate (2) to the dowel pins on the flywheel (1).
  3. Install the clutch pressure plate bolts finger tight.
  4. Install a suitable clutch alignment arbor in order to align the clutch driven plate to the clutch pilot bearing.

    5. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  5. Tighten the clutch pressure plate bolts.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the clutch pressure plate bolts in sequence shown to 70 N·m (52 lb ft).

  6. Install the manual transmission. Refer to Transmission Replacement in Manual Transmission - Tremec 6-Speed.
