POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB BREAKAGE

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1985-1988 "N" CAR ----------------- Due to the location of the power seat switch, the knob is subject to breakage when entering or exiting the car. A new Power seat switch has been released with the following improvements; the center actuator shaft material has been changed to metal, increased in diameter and shortened.

Parts are currently available from GM PARTS, Order part number 16605748 and use published service procedures when replacing a switch broken as described above.
