MANUAL UPDATE-SEC.3, 8A, 10 SPORT PERF. PACKAGE RPO W32

Models Affected: 1990 GRAND AM

Pontiac Division is making available RPO W32, Sport Performance Package, on Grand AM LE models. The content of this package affects certain sections of the 1990 Grand AM Service Manual. What follows is a listing of service manual sections that are affected and how they differ:

Section 3 - A new suspension option, FE2 which consists of FE1 plus a 14 to 1 ratio steering gear, a 28 mm front stabilizer shaft, and a 21 mm rear stabilizer shaft. When checking trim height use the specifications for FE1 on page 3-16.

Section 8A - Fog lamps (T96) are included in RPO W32. Use the pages in Cell 100 that show the option which is included on the SE.

Section 8A and 10-8 - This car will use the SE tail lamps and rear end panel. Use Cell 111 for tail lamp diagnosis. Use Figure 14 on Page 10-8-11 for reference when replacing parts.

Please write this bulletin number in your service manual on the affected pages.
