1. Remove the Air Cleaner Outlet Resonator. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Resonator .
2. Disconnect the electrical connector to the EGR valve.
3. Remove the EGR valve bolts (1).
4. Remove the EGR valve (2).

Important: Be sure all gasket material is removed from the EGR mounting surface. Even a small amount of material may cause a DTC P0401 to set.

1. Install the EGR valve (2) with the gasket (3).
2. Install the EGR valve bolts (1).

Tighten
Tighten the EGR valve bolts to 22-30 N·m (16-22 lb. ft.)

3. Connect the EGR valve electrical connector.
4. Install the Air Cleaner Outlet Resonator. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Resonator .
