Inspection Procedure
- Remove the fluid level indicator.
- Read the fluid level indicator.
- If the indicator reads ADD or below, fill the transaxle to FULL with synchromesh transaxle fluid GM P/N 12345349 or equivalent.
Important:
• Inspect the fluid level only when the engine is off. Ensure the
vehicle is level. The transaxle must be cold. • The fluid level indicator must be fully seated during vehicle
operation or leakage will occur at the vent plug.
