•	The hydraulic system is faulty. Perform the pressure test with the J 5176-D or the J 25323-B . Refer to Power Steering System Test .

•	The steering gear valve and pinion is sticking.

•	The steering gear valve and pinion is plugged.

•	The power steering belt is loose.

•	The power steering fluid is contaminated.

•	Air is in the power steering system.
