When installing a child restraint with a top strap in the rear seat, a special dealer-installed anchor must be used to anchor the child seat top strap. In order to assure the correct top strap angle, the child seat is only to be used at the seat position for which the top strap anchor is installed. Be sure the child seat position does not conflict with any additional requirements provided by the manufacturer.

1. Select the desired rear seat installation position(s) and locate the appropriate existing hole in the rear window panel.
2. Cut a hole in the rear window trim panel.



3. Install the child seat restraint system belt kit bolt, bracket, sleeve, and J-nut.
