Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 183719  Size: SH
  1. Remove the driver or passenger seat shoulder belt pillar guide cover by pulling on the bottom of the cover (1).
  2. Remove the driver or passenger seat shoulder belt pillar guide bolt (5).
  3. Remove the center pillar upper trim panel. Refer to Roof.
  4. Remove the front seat shoulder belt guide track bolts (8).
  5. Remove the front seat shoulder belt guide track (7).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 183719  Size: SH
  1. Install the front seat shoulder belt guide track (7).
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the front seat shoulder belt guide track bolts (8).
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the front seat shoulder belt guide track bolt to 28 N·m (21 lb ft).

  5. Install the center pillar upper trim panel. Refer to Roof.
  6. Install the driver or passenger seat shoulder belt pillar guide bolt (5).
  7. Tighten
    Tighten the driver or passenger seat shoulder belt pillar guide bolt to 42 N·m (31 lb ft).

  8. Install the driver or passenger seat shoulder belt pillar guide cover (1).
  9. Inspect the driver or passenger seat shoulder belt pillar guide cover for broken tabs. Replace any cover containing broken tabs.
