Did you perform the Wiper/Washer System Check?

Go to Step 2

Go to Wiper/Washer System Check or Wiper/Washer System Check

1. Turn the ignition switch to RUN.
2. Turn the wiper switch to LOW.
3. Disconnect the wiper motor connector C1.
4. Connect a test lamp from connector C1, terminal F, to ground.
5. Momentarily activate and release the washer switch while observing the test lamp.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 6

Test for a short to B+ in CKT 94.

Does a short to B+ exist?

--

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 5

Repair the short to B+ in CKT 94.

Did you complete the repair?

Go to Wiper/Washer System Check or Wiper/Washer System Check

Replace the wiper/washer switch. Refer to Windshield Wiper and Washer Switch Replacement - On Vehicle .

Did you complete the repair?

Go to Wiper/Washer System Check or Wiper/Washer System Check

Replace the wiper motor cover. Refer to Wiper Motor Cover Replacement .
