You may have to resynchronize the transmitter with the receiver
because of the security method used by the remote control door lock receiver
system. The transmitter does not send the same signal twice to the receiver.
The receiver does not respond to a signal that the transmitter has sent
previously. This prevents the anyone recording and playing back the signal
from the transmitter.
Resynchronization only works if the transmitter is already programmed.
Resynchronization does not send the mathematical recognition formula to the
receiver. Resynchronization simply verifies the formula tht was previously
programmed into the transmitter.
Resynchronize the transmitter and the receiver under the following conditions:
• | The transmitter battery is weak. |
• | The transmitter battery has been changed. |
• | The vehicle battery is weak. |
• | The vehicle battery is changed. |
• | The vehicle battery is disconnected. |
• | The transmitter is activated more than 255 times, while
the receiver is outside the range of the transmitter. |
Resynchronization Procedure
- Simultaneously depress the lock (5) button and the unlock (2)
button on the transmitter. Hold the buttons for 7 seconds.
- The receiver acknowledges the resynchronization in the following
manner:
• | If all of the doors are locked, the receiver unlocks and then
locks all of the doors, except the driver's door. |
• | If all of the doors are unlocked, the receiver locks all of the
doors. |
